What do we offer…
As Agronomist, you make an essential contribution to our growing hybrid potato breeding program by designing and implementing your R&D program for the different agronomic models for use of “True Potato Seeds “(TPS). Based on our business plan for TPS you identify open questions which you translate into project plans. You work field is in an international network of trial stations within KWS and Simplot which support the projects led by you. To ensure a success of our innovations in the market you also make use of the various external potato innovation platforms within the Netherlands and abroad.
What we are looking for…
You are a hands-on team player, who is pro-active, entrepreneurial and takes responsibility. You are well organized, keep an eye on costs and are keen to streamline processes. As passioned agronomist, you act based on your knowledge, expertise and experience. In return we give you room to develop yourself further in this growing company and market.
- You have a MSc or PhD in agronomy or related field
- Industry experience is a must
- Professional communication in English; Dutch would be an asset
- Willingness to occasionally travel (ca. 25 %)
